South Carolina football: ESPN projects win total for Gamecocks’ 2020 season

TENNESSEE
South Carolina opens with a toss-up game against the Volunteers, and ESPN thinks the Gamecocks will get off to a 1-0 start. It gives the team a 57% chance to win, which is the most even of the matchups on the South Carolina slate.

After starting 1-0, the Gamecocks fall to the Gators in the Swamp. ESPN gives the Gamecocks a 13.4% chance to win. Florida is ranked as the 12th best team in the country according to the FPI.
