The South Carolina football team reported back on Monday, and is expected to begin fall practice this week.

South Carolina football players reported back to campus on Monday, and will kick off fall camp this afternoon as they gear up for the upcoming season. The Gamecocks now know their 2020 schedule, and the group has just over a month to prepare for its home opener against the Tennessee Volunteers.

As is the case every season, the Gamecocks have many newcomers set to begin their careers in Columbia this fall. A handful of those new faces will be asked to step in immediately at positions of need along the Carolina offense and defense.

South Carolina’s latest recruiting class ranked 18th nationally, headlined by a couple of five-star prospects. There were also a handful of transfers to come to Columbia following productive stints elsewhere.
