The South Carolina football team is set to begin its 10-game SEC schedule at the end of September. We rank the matchups from least to most enticing.

The SEC is planning to move forward with a fall football season, though the makeup of that season will be a bit atypical. Member institutions are set to square off against 10 league opponents, with opening weekend set for September 26th.

Though the ordering of the schedule has not yet been determined, the Gamecocks do know who they’ll be facing. Unfortunately, the SEC has moved to a conference-only slate, meaning the chances of a Clemson v. South Carolina rivalry game are slim to none. Still, the schedule is filled with exciting matchups and unexpected foes, as two new western division opponents slide in to replace the previously slotted out-of-conference contests.

The Gamecocks are set to face five of the nation’s top 15 teams, as well as two more ranked inside the top 30, according to the latest preseason coaches’ poll. Here, we order these matchups from least to most anticipated.
