63-17

The brawl was certainly the low point in the series, but this 2003 matchup may be a close second, at least for South Carolina fans. The score is all fans need to hear to know the moment in question.

Clemson quarterback Charlie Whitehurst came into Williams-Brice and absolutely dominated the Carolina squad, leading the Tigers to a 63-17 victory, the most points scored by a team in the series’ history.

Whitehurst threw for four touchdowns, and the Tigers never looked back after jumping out to a 21-0 lead.

The loss kept the Gamecocks out of bowl contention, while Clemson went on to upset No. 6 Tennessee in the Peach Bowl.
