The South Carolina basketball program has seen 32 head coaches in its 112-year existence. Which hires rank as the best and worst in Gamecock history?

The Gamecock basketball team has been playing since 1908, posting a 1444-1268 record, winning seven regular season conference championships, two conference tournament championships, and making nine NCAA tournament and 11 NIT appearances.

Over that time, South Carolina has been a member of four leagues, which include the Southern Conference, the Atlantic Coast Conference, the Metropolitan Collegiate Athletic Conference, and the Southeastern Conference. They’ve also been an Independent on multiple occasions.

The Gamecocks have reached the pinnacle of the college basketball world, making a run to the Final Four in 2017, but they’ve also struggled through 20-loss seasons and last place finishes.

Of the 32 coaches to roam the sidelines, which have been the best and worst in Gamecock basketball history?
