QB

Connor Shaw is the easy choice here. He’s the program’s winningest quarterback, compiling a career record of 27-5. The three-year starter never lost a game in Williams-Brice Stadium.

RB

Marcus Lattimore became the program’s all-time leader in touchdowns, despite battling through an injury-plagued career.  As a freshman, he ran for nearly 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns, both Gamecock bests between 2010-2019.

WR

Alshon Jeffery is the school’s second-leading receiver, totaling 3,042 yards over his three-year career. He holds a share of the Gamecock record with 23 touchdown catches (tied with Sidney Rice) and his 1,517 receiving yards in 2010 is still a single-season program record.

Bryan Edwards broke Jeffery’s receiving record last season, eclipsing the mark by a mere three yards. Edwards ended his career with 3,045 yards and 22 touchdown catches.

Pharoh Cooper spent just three seasons in Columbia, and really didn’t get started until his sophomore year. Still, the utility player amassed 2,163 receiving yards, good for ninth all-time.

TE

Hayden Hurst became a first-round pick just three years after walking on to the South Carolina football team in 2015. Hurst caught 100 passes from his tight end spot between ’15-’17, earning All-SEC honors as a junior.

OL

Brandon Shell was a four-year starter that earned All-SEC honors on multiple occasions.  The Goose Creek native was drafted by the Jets in 2016.

Zack Bailey made 38 starts over his four years in Columbia, mostly at guard, though he did play both center and tackle as well.  He was an All-SEC performer as a senior.

TJ Johnson was the best center of the decade, with Donell Stanley a close second.  Johnson started a school-record 53 straight games. He is the only Gamecock to start in four wins over rival Clemson. He was drafted by the Bengals in 2013.

AJ Cann was a four-year starter that made 51 appearances at his guard position.  He earned All-America honors as a senior before being drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Corey Robinson played tackle alongside Cann, making 35 career starts at left tackle. The North Carolina native was selected by the Detroit Lions in 2015.
