NO. 4 JIMMY LEGREE

Legree played for the Gamecocks from 2010-13 as a member of a star-studded Carolina secondary.  However, the praise for Stephon Gilmore, DJ Swearinger, and Devonte Holloman often overshadowed Legree’s production amongst fans and media.

But productive he was.  Legree earned a starting role as a junior and would go on to pick off six passes over his final two seasons in Columbia.  One of those was returned for a touchdown, and another was a near score in a close 2012 matchup against LSU.

For his career, Legree recorded 111 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and those six interceptions.  He’d give the NFL a shot before later joining the US Army.
