South Carolina football: Most underrated players of the decade

The South Carolina football program has seen some superstars roll through Columbia over the last decade, but a number of other players were undervalued after making great contributions to their respective teams.

Over the last ten seasons, the Gamecocks have seen a number of faces pass through the South Carolina football program.  Of those, there were record-setters like Marcus Lattimore and Bryan Edwards, first round draft picks, and numerous All-Americans.

But not everyone received the attention of superstars like Jadeveon Clowney, Alshon Jeffery, and Stephon Gilmore.  A number of great Gamecocks quietly made their contributions to the team without praise, and were instrumental in the program’s successes of the last decade.

Here, we take a look at the most underrated players of the last ten years.
