3. JADEVEON CLOWNEY VS. CLEMSON (2012)

Jadeveon Clowney was unstoppable in the 2012 rivalry matchup against Clemson.  He set a program record for sacks in a game and sacks in a season, as the Gamecocks took down the Tigers 27-17.  His 4.5 sacks are also the most ever recorded in a game played in Death Valley.

The game marked the end of the most dominant season by a defensive lineman in school history.  He broke two single-season marks, totaling 13 sacks and 23.5 tackles for loss.  The sophomore would follow up the performance against Clemson by making the most viral hit of the decade in the bowl game against Michigan.

For his efforts, Clowney would finish sixth in the Heisman voting before being selected first overall in the NFL draft a year later.
