JOE BURROW

Burrow put on a show last season, finishing with one of the greatest single-season performances by a quarterback in college football history.  The Heisman trophy winner threw for an FBS record 60 touchdowns and led the nation in passing.

His LSU Tigers averaged over 48 points per game on their way to a national title, dismantling Oklahoma and Clemson in the college football playoff.  The offense also set an SEC record for total yards in a season, much in part to Burrow’s eclipsing the 275-yard mark in each of his 15 starts.

Luckily for the Gamecocks, they’ll never have to deal with facing Burrow.  A cross-divisional matchup, the Tigers and Gamecocks only meet every so often.  And the superstar signal caller has exhausted his eligibility and is on to the NFL.
