The South Carolina football team has a few players that will have a chip on their shoulder this season. Who has the most to prove in 2020?
The Gamecocks hope to kick off the season in early September, which is only about 10 weeks away. Throughout these next two-and-a-half months, players will be battling for starting roles, playing time, and recognition.
Not only is South Carolina looking to improve upon a four-win season in 2019, but there are individuals looking to finally make their mark on the program.
As competition stiffens, a few players will have a little something extra to prove to both coaches and fans. This group consists of players returning from injury, those that struggled last season, and a few that have been buried on the depth chart but are looking for their opportunity to make an impact.
