This Sunday at 3 pm, Gaffney defensive line prospect, Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, will announce where he plans to attend college next season.  He ranks as a three star recruit, and the fourth best player in the state of South Carolina, according to Rivals.

Ingram-Dawkins recently released a top six that includes the Gamecocks, along with the Florida State Seminoles, Georgia Bulldogs, North Carolina Tar Heels, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Tennessee Volunteers.  The home state school may the team to beat, though, as he’s been to the South Carolina campus on three separate occasions.

The 6’6”, 300-pound end also holds offers from Auburn, Arkansas, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Texas A&M, and others.  Should he choose the Gamecocks, Ingram-Dawkins would become the seventh overall commitment, and second defensive line prospect in Will Muschamp’s 2021 class.

The Gamecocks’ current 2021 commitment list consists a signal caller, a speedy pass catcher, and four players on the defensive side of the football.  The current headliner is four star quarterback Colten Gauthier, who joins wide receiver Sam Reynolds, defensive back Marcellas Dial, defensive tackle Nick Barrett, and linebackers Bryce Steele and Trenilyas Tatum.

Ingram-Dawkins is a must get for head coach Will Muschamp and defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson.  The massive defensive end prospect is one of the top players in the state and could have the size and versatility to play multiple positions along the South Carolina defensive line.  He touts a very impressive offer list, and his stock will only continue to rise as he enters his senior season.
