The South Carolina football team added a commitment to the 2021 class in Georgia linebacker Trenilyas Tatum.  Tatum ranks as the 210th best prospect in the nation, and is considered the 10th best linebacker.

The Jonesboro native picked the Gamecocks over offers from Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech.

Tatum becomes the second linebacker in the 2021 class, joining Bryce Steele, who committed earlier this month.  Other class members include QB Colten Gauthier, WR Sam Reynolds, DL Nick Barrett, and DB Marcellas Dial.
