Succop was released by the Titans last month after spending six years in Tennessee.  He battled through an injury plagued season in 2019, where he was just 1-6 of field goal attempts.  Prior to that, Succop had been 83% accurate, going 235 for 281 over his first 10 seasons.  In 2017, he led the league in field goal attempts with 42, and made a career-high 35 kicks.  He’s also 97% on extra points, including not having missed an XP attempt over his first six seasons in the NFL.

The last pick in the 2009 Draft, Succop ranks 12th among active players in points scored with 1,046.  He also ranks 51st in NFL history with 236 career field goal makes, and owns the record for consecutive makes inside of 50 yards, converting 56 straight attempts.  The North Carolina native was an All-Rookie selection in his first NFL season.

Succop played for the Gamecocks from 2005-2008, where he made 49 of his 69 field goal attempts.  As a senior, Succop led the SEC in makes (20) and attempts (30), and scored 90 points to lead the team.  His 20 makes were good for seventh in the NCAA that season.  He ranks 3rd in program history in total points scored with 251.  The two-time All-SEC selection would go on to be Mr. Irrelevant in the 2009 NFL Draft.
