NFL DRAFT PREVIEW

Once you’re done reminiscing on the past, jump back into the present to preview the upcoming NFL Draft.  In April, a few former Gamecocks could hear their names called on the big screen as they look to pursue an NFL career.

One of those names will be that of defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw, who’s primed to be a first-round pick.  Most draft projections have him going among the first 20 selections, and NFL.com tabs Kinlaw as the 3rd best DL prospect in the draft behind Auburn’s Derrick Brown and Ohio State’s Chase Young.

RB Rico Dowdle, WR Bryan Edwards, and DL DJ Wonnum also hope to be selected in the three-day event after finishing up their senior years with the Gamecocks in 2019.  Click here for a more in-depth look at these former players’ draft stocks.
