The South Carolina Gamecocks enter their third game of the season against the Kentucky Wildcats. Can Will Muschamp and his Gamecocks finally beat Kentucky after losing for the past three seasons.

In the past three seasons South Carolina has beaten all but one team in the SEC East at least once. That one team is Mark Stoops Kentucky Wildcats. The past three seasons the games have been close, but the attitude this team has is far different from what Gamecock fans have seen in the past?

On offense the Gamecocks have a legit Heisman contender in Deebo Samuel. Hayden Hurst is one of the best tight ends in the nation. Jake Bentley is a top three QB in the SEC and the Gamecocks have one of the most efficient redzone offenses in the country. The defense has mentally created a bend but don’t break attitude and it has showed in the past two victories for Muschamp and his team.

The atmosphere is going to be one for the ages but the Gamecocks must not let what happened in 2015 happen again Saturday night. In 2015 the Gamecocks also had a sold-out crowd. The Gamecocks lost that night to Kentucky 26-22.

The Kentucky Wildcats have a good pass defense and they have a good offense that could put up some points if the Gamecocks defense isn’t ready to go. Although Kentucky has been a problem for the Gamecocks the past three seasons, don’t expect that trend to continue in 2017.

Here’s the bottom line, The Gamecocks have too many weapons on offense and they have one of the better defenses in the east. Kentucky is 2-0 but those two wins were close against weak teams in Southern Miss (24-17) and Eastern Kentucky (27-16). The Gamecocks will dominate the time of possession and keep the Kentucky offense from scoring but only one touchdown,

31-10 Gamecocks Win.
