10. Sindarius Thornwell’s Return from Suspension

Sindarius Thornwell had to battle through a 6 game suspension in the middle of the season in which the team greatly struggled, going 3-3. Thornwell returned for the Gamecocks SEC opener against Georgia. All Thornwell did was go for 19 points, 11 rebounds, 6 steals, and 3 blocks. Most importantly, he got the Gamecocks back to their winning ways to start SEC play.
