Control the Line of Scrimmage

South Carolina showed some signs of life with their defensive line play with the help of freshman Boosie Whitlow who got a safety and sack against UCF. Whitlow has shown he has what it takes to get past an opposing teams offensive line but we still need more players to step up.

Guys like Marquavius Lewis, both Gerald Dixon‘s, Cedrick Cooper are only a few of the players constantly being substituted on the line during games that need to turn their motor on high and start pressuring quarterbacks. South Carolina also needs to control the line of scrimmage with their offensive line to help win this Saturday against Missouri.

Let’s not forget Nuñez is only in his second start going up against a really good defense that has owned teams offensive lines so far this season. The offensive line needs to give Nuñez time to throw and help open some lanes for Shon Carson and David Williams.
