Duane Notice is the reigning Gamecock Gala Team MVP for his performance during the 2014-15 season. Notice averaged 11.8 points per game and 2.7 assists per game leading the team to its first winning record since the 2008-09 season.
This season, Notice should benefit from having better post players, a fully healthy Sindarius Thornwell, and the addition of P.J. Dozier. He is the type of player that is willing to do whatever helps the team whether he’s starting or coming off the bench. Notice played well in the SC Pro Am, highlighted by a 38 point 5 rebound performance. Notice will be counted on to make shots and extend the floor, and should have more weapons to give him some space this season.
