Garnet & Cocky Is Looking For More Writers

I am looking to really grow this site, and to do so Garnet & Cocky is looking for more writers to contribute to the website.  I want to grow this to be one of the biggest sites on FanSided, and because we are writing about the South Carolina Gamecocks, I know we can do this!  Obviously there are a lot of sites out there writing about the Gamecocks, but we are looking to connect better with the fans than the others.  We want there to be more opinion, more humor, and more real-fan coverage than other sites.

Do you love the Gamecocks?  Do you enjoy writing?  Would you like seeing you name on articles you wrote and know that people are enjoying what you have to say about one of your favorite topics?  Well then maybe this is for you!

I’m looking for people who are interested in more than just football (in fact, you don’t even have to be interested in football!).  Really I want to cover as many areas as possible that have to do with the Gamecocks.  I really would love some people who are passionate about basketball, baseball, and especially women’s basketball and softball.  In fact, it’d be awesome to have someone who could cover even some of the other key sports like golf, soccer, equestrian, track, and more!

You don’t have to write often.  In fact, you could just do a few a week, and even focus on the same things every week if you wanted, making sure other fans were up to date on what’s going on!
