October 9, 2010: #19 South Carolina 35, #1 Alabama 21
In a game regarded as the biggest win in South Carolina football history, the defending BCS national champs entered Williams-Brice as the top ranked team in the country and looking to repeat in 2010. However, the Gamecocks turned the tables and never trailed in this contest. The Tide had a chance to knot things up trailing 28-21 in the 4th, but a failed fake field goal with 11:35 left gave the ball back to Carolina. The Gamecocks would score on the ensuing drive to basically ice the game away. Alshon Jeffrey had a big day, hauling in two touchdown passes and racking up 127 yards receiving on seven grabs.
