Around The SEC East: Week 4

Now that “Shake Up Saturday” is in the rear view mirror, maybe we will have more of a “calm” Saturday of football this weekend in the SEC East…but lets hope not. We don’t have the slate of games like last weekend, but still a couple of interesting games that have potential to raise some eye brows, such as Florida visiting Alabama, Mizzou hosting Indiana, and, of course our always interesting contest at Vanderbilt–again, let’s hope not. Here are some top news and notes from around the East heading into week four.

Georgia Bulldogs: After the disappointing loss in Columbia last weekend, the Dawgs are still looking to fine-tune the passing game.

Florida Gators: a “make or break” game vs. Alabama this weekend for QB Jeff Driskel.

Missouri Tigers: RBs Hansbrough and Murphy available vs. Indiana after injuries last weekend.

Tennessee Volunteers–BYE WEEK: Junior WR Von Pearson out for the UGA game (next week) with an ankle injury.

Kentucky Wildcats–BYE WEEK: After the near massive upset in The Swamp, there’s plenty to like about Kentucky’s future.

Vanderbilt Commodores: With 4 former players awaiting trial on rape charges, new allegations out of a separate rape committed by a current player and former recruit have emerged.
