–Carolina enters late betting as a
to win the game. It’s not surprising, given the fact that they’ll be playing at home. It also appears that Vegas isn’t sold on the Aggies winning this one without Johnny Manziel under center.
–The spread for tonight’s game is 61.
–Going into tonight’s game, Mike Davis has emerged as with a 33/1 shot at winning the Heisman Trophy. (Jameis Winston is a 9/2 favorite.) Vegas isn’t currently in favor of an A&M player winning it: Kyle Allen is a 100/1 longshot to take it.
–South Carolina currently sits at 28/1 to win the National Championship; Florida State is a 4/1 favorite (with Alabama right behind at 5/1). The Aggies currently sit at 75/1, tied with Mizzou.
–Among prop bets (closed at noon): Davis closed at +225 to have the most rushing TDs out of SEC running backs this season (behind Todd Gurley at +200 and T.J. Yeldon at +210) and at +210 to have the most rushing yards in the conference (Gurley was favored at +175). His number for total rushing yards was 1180 and 11.5 for rushing TDs.
