So the Texas A&M Aggies yell leaders had midnight yell practice at the South Carolina Statehouse…and more than a few Gamecocks fans showed up.
Thankfully, that great invention known as Twitter (and the other thing they call Instagram) was able to get us up close and personal to the action. So, if you weren’t there (or fast asleep in bed), allow Garnet and Cocky to present to you highlights of what happened when Texas A&M fans and South Carolina fans came together late Wednesday/early Thursday.
The Yell Leaders have arrived on the statehouse steps. Aggies are pretty riled up.

Chants of "Where is Johnny?!" and "Connor's Better!" ringing out

Things started tame enough, as you can see. But…
Gov. Haley has boarded horse w/ Darius Rucker. Haley waving huge SC flag as she & Darius gallop around state house #FakeYellPracticeTweets

Just kidding–that didn’t happen. OK, back to reality.

This night had everything. Comedy…
One of the yell leaders is pacing around at the top of the steps doing what seems to be a really bad stand up act

We have a "NA-NA-NA-NA HEY HEY HEY GOODBYE" song behind us. While Yell Leader tells a joke about "Kevin Damn Sumlin"

A spelling bee…
15 minutes in and what I have learned about A&M: they know how to sway and spell. Was honestly expecting more

Music…
Police made 97.5 truck playing sandstorm leave.

More music…
All Aggies singing "Goodbye to the orange and white." USC fans may be singing along considering the lyrics.

Good, clean fun for the entire family.
Three chants of "Beat the hell outta South Carolina," followed by vigorous fist shaking. And we have our second chant of "---- the Aggies!"

You’d think these fans were excited for the game or something the way they were carrying on.
Fortunately, the crowd peacefully dispersed, and (from what we understand) there were no fights or arrests, which is surprising.
Oh, by the way, it’s officially gameday.
