Who wears #5:
Brendan Nosovitch(QB?) and
Darius English(DE)
So we find ourselves talking about Mr. Nosovitch again. A few weeks ago, he was leaving, and then he wasn’t, and now it looks like he may take some snaps at tight end since there’s simply no space for him among
Dylan Thompson,
Connor Mitchand
Perry Orthamong the quarterbacks. We might see him line up in the wildcat formation from time to time.
One man that we know is staying at his position is English. English has some shoes to fill: he’s manning the spots that Jadeveon Clowney and Chaz Sutton used to patrol when they were here. We’ll talk more on that later in the week, but eyes will be on the redshirt sophomore to see if he’s capable of at least holding his own at a position that has been in good hands in recent years.
Gamecocks football in 1905
Record: 4-2-1
Coach: Christie Benet
No Clemson. There was The Citadel, who the Gamecocks took out back in a 47-0 laugher. There was also the Bingham Military School, who played Carolina to a tie before the Gamecocks won in the season’s last game, 19-6.
