Last night, the news came down that
Davis would be questionable to play in next Thursday’s matchup
. Davis has been suffering through a hamstring injury that held him out of fall camp initially before returning, followed by an injury to his ribs that kept him from taking the field. Further adding fuel to the fire was the fact that Steve Spurrier
told the Sportstalk team that the running back may not be available to start
.
A legitimate assessment or smoke and mirrors from the coach? You decide. But Davis thinks he’s ready, and barring a seriously extenuating circumstance that will keep him from stepping on the field next week, our bets are that he’ll be playing.
