By now, you may know what the ice bucket challenge is, whether you’ve seen it on social media or whether you’ve done it yourself.
Naturally, the challenge made its way to Columbia, where South Carolina athletics director Ray Tanner, head football coach Steve Spurrier and the entire South Carolina Gamecocks coaching staff all did it together this evening after the team’s practice.

Afterwards, Spurrier challenged Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops and Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin. Oh, and he challenged Alabama head man Nick Saban, because of course he did.
Bob, Kevin and Nick, if you’re reading this (unlikely, but it’s worth a shot), you know the drill: you’ve got 24 hours to either donate $100 toward an ALS foundation of your choosing or take the challenge yourself. I can envision it now: Saban getting a bucket of ice water dumped on him and not even showing a trace of emotion, because that’s just how he is.
