ICYMI: Gamecocks QB Dylan Thompson Is Engaged

South Carolina Gamecocks quarterback Dylan Thompson had been partaking in a Twitter fast to get himself ready to go for football in a few weeks and to focus on his faith.
He broke that fast–temporarily–to announce some pretty big news.
“Mel” in this case is Melanie Helm, a 2012 graduate of Anderson University and a teacher in the Lancaster County school system.
I’d probably have to say that’s worth tweeting–although I hope Dylan and Melanie’s parents didn’t find out over Twitter, though.
Congrats to the lovely couple, by the way.
