Sandifer, who is 6’3″ and weighs in at about 332 pounds, told
Scout.com’s Chad Simmons that a decision was forthcoming “Saturday night around 7pm”
. He had offers from Arkansas, Cincinnati, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Syracuse and Vanderbilt as well, but has narrowed his list down to the three listed above.
Georgia’s been good to South Carolina as far as the 2015 recruiting class is concerned, with six players thus far hailing from the Peachtree State. That bodes well for the team as they’ve been able to snatch players from the backyard of not only the Georgia Bulldogs, but the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets as well.
Taking a look at who’s in the fold for the Gamecocks on the o-line among the class of 2015, there are only two thus far, a pair of four star players: Lexington (Va.) Rockbridge’s Austin Clark and JUCO guard Paris Palmer (Lackawanna CC). We’ll see if Sandifer makes it #3 in just a few day’s time.
