2016 Md. OG Terrance Davis offered by South Carolina
By Sydney Hunte
A big offensive guard from the class of 2016 is on the radar for the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Over the weekend, the Gamecocks offered Terrance Davis from national football power DeMatha Catholic in Maryland. And when we say big, we mean big: 6’4″, 310.

Davis currently has offers from Alabama, Florida State, Illinois, Kentucky and Maryland, and with his junior year approaching, he has some time to add to that number as the weeks and months go on.
Davis isn’t the only DeMatha player to be offered by the Gamecocks. Last month, the team extended one to Shane Simmons, who currently has twenty-six offers and could very well be a high-end prospect once he comes out of high school.
The Gamecocks currently have a Maryland o-lineman on their roster: Na’ty Rodgers from McDonough High in Waldorf. Rodgers was the 15th ranked OT on Rivals.com when he came out and is expected to be a key contributor to the line. If Carolina can add Davis, they’ll have another piece they can use a few years down the road.
