SEC Media Days 2014: Which Gamecocks will be there?

Next week (Monday!), SEC Media Days begin in Birmingham, Alabama and run all the way through Thursday. It’s a chance for the media to gather and hear from all of the SEC coaches, key players from each team, and gather whatever gold Steve Spurrier throws their way.

Because we know Spurrier will be full of interesting quotes and

shots at Nick Saban

observations of his fellow SEC coaching brethren.

Count on it.

You won’t have to wait long to hear Spurrier, because he has the 10am-1pm slot to kick off the Tuesday session. What better way to start your day than to hear some homespun dialog from the Ole Ball Coach himself?

And Spurrier will be taking a trio of seniors with him–QB Dylan Thompson, who will be fresh off the Manning Passing Academy, along with OG A.J. Cann and DT J.T. Surratt. Cann might arguably be one of the best o-linemen in the country, while Surratt is a fifth year senior and the veteran of Carolina’s defense.

Not a bad group to take down.
