South Carolina Gamecocks Football Countdown: 54 Days

facebooktwitterreddit

Our countdown to the 2014 college football season continues as just 54 days separate us from kickoff between the South Carolina Gamecocks and Texas A&M Aggies at Williams-Brice Stadium on August 28.

Who wears #54: Clayton Stadnik
Clayton Stadnik is 6’3″, 279 lbs and the backup center as a redshirt sophomore from Western Guilford in Greensboro, NC. who started seven games while Cody Waldrop was injured. In only his second start, he was named SEC Offensive Lineman of the week last year. If this is who the Gamecocks have as a backup, then that means their offensive line must be in pretty good shape.

What 54 days left means:
After this weekend, you only have 7 more weekends left before the first game. With your summer vacation plans, and all the places you need to take your kids, that’s less than it seems. You need to start making sure you’re prepared for that game. It’s a 6pm kickoff, so do you need to ask off for the entire day or just get off early? Who all is going? Do you need to replace any of your essential tailgating supplies? Don’t delay, or you’ll be scrambling more than Connor Shaw when the day gets here.
