21. Texas A&M Aggies

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Aggies have been fun to watch on offense in recent years, but their defense has been atrocious. A&M has plenty of holes to fill on offense as well, losing three first-round draft picks. Texas A&M is likely a year away from being a formidable force in the SEC West.

20. Washington Huskies

Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Washington is fired up over the hiring of Chris Petersen, but the new head coach has some things to clear up before the Huskies hit the field. Petersen suspended three players during the offseason, including starting quarterback Cyler Miles, and must decide thier fate before the opener.

19. Clemson Tigers

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

The Tigers have momentum heading into 2014 thanks to an Orange Bowl win over Ohio State. However, they don’t have Tajh Boyd or Sammy Watkins, which could cause a typically potent offense to take a step back. Vic Beasley and an improved defense will have to step up.

18. Arizona State Sun Devils

Michael C. Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

Arizona State returns just two starters from a defense that had plenty of struggles in 2013. Quarterback Taylor Kelly and the offense may have to win their fair share of shootouts this season while the Sun Devils try to plug holes on the other side of the ball.
