How they got here: The Gamecocks rode a stellar 8+ inning performance by Jordan Montgomery to beat Campbell 5-2, while the Terrapins erased a 3-1 ninth inning deficit to walk off against Old Dominion 4-3, a game that ended with a pair of bases-loaded hit batsmen to bring the tying and winning runs home. It was Maryland’s first NCAA win in 44 years.
