How will Jadeveon Clowney fit with the Texans? A conversation with House of Houston

For the past year, South Carolina Gamecocks fans followed every move and story on Jadeveon Clowney. They struggled with much of the criticism in the media around his effort, and they relished in the moments he provided them like winning the ESPY for Play of the Year for “The Hit”. On gameday, fans were always locked in on everything he did, from the walk in to every single defensive play, watching what he was doing and waiting for that next big play. For the past few months, they wondered and waited, confidently believing he would be, he should be, taken first overall in the NFL draft.

All those moments came together last Thursday when the Houston Texans did pick Jadeveon number one overall in the NFL Draft. For Gamecock fans everywhere, it was a proud moment, both of him personally, and for the school that one of their own had been selected in that spot. For Texans fans, however, a new era was beginning.  Many of them have not been following every play, every story in the past year as Gamecock fans have been, and now they have questions.
