The Atlanta Falcons hold the 6th pick in the NFL Draft. Could Jadeveon Clowney be their man?
It’s doubtful that the South Carolina Gamecocks defensive end will drop down that far, but he’s headed to visit the Falcons tomorrow.
Atlanta’s depth chart at defensive line includes Jonathan Babineaux (42 tackles) and Tyson Jackson (34 tackles). All that aside, any shot they have at a game-changing player would be a move that they would certainly be interested in making.
You’d think the Falcons would need to trade up to get into position for Clowney, but for now it looks like they’re just doing due diligence if–big if–he’s available.
We’ll see what happens, but we certainly don’t see Clowney headed to Atlanta when it’s all said and done.
