Well, the day has finally arrived. It’s South Carolina Pro Day, and media, NFL scouts, team executives and fans alike will descend upon Williams-Brice Stadium to watch Jadeveon Clowney in his much anticipated workout.
And while it won’t nearly approach the hype that Johnny Manziel had for his not long ago, word is that over 120 credentials have been dished out to the media throng which will be out in full force this morning.
The event is open to the general public, but if you can’t make it, NFL Network will be showing Clowney’s workout live. ESPN will have live look-ins during SportsCenter throughout the late morning/early midday hours, which will be shown online on WatchESPN.com.
After that, the scrutiny and dissection will continue as the draft experts attempt to predict where the defensive end will go in the NFL Draft. The fun is just beginning, and from here on out, it’s a downhill ride to New York as the main event will be a little over a month away.
