Gamecocks. Tigers. Death Valley. SEC implications. National title implications. Eight PM. Death Valley.

I said the last part twice didn’t I? Sorry, I’m a little excited about the game.

LSU has problems on both sides of the ball and the Gamecocks are rolling, so what’s going to happen when the Richter Scale starts shaking down on the bayou?

Dull prediction of the day: Both teams will kick at least one field goal in the first half.

Points were hard to come by in Gainesville for LSU and Florida, and they’ll be hard to come by in Baton Rouge for the Tigers and Gamecocks. Spurrier and Miles, the quintessential risk takers, will play things close to the vest in the first half to avoid the big mistake.

Mediocre prediction of the day:Marcus Lattimore will rush for more yards than LSU’s entire offense.

Mike Gillislee rushed for 100 more yards than LSU’s offense last weekend, and even though the games is on the road, Lattimore must be licking his chops ahead of this matchup.

Bold prediction of the day: Jadeveon Clowney will sack Zack Mettenberger three times.

LSU’s quarterback was on his back all day against the Gators, and he’ll probably find himself in a similar spot against the Gamecocks. Clowney is hungry, and the only thing that can satiate him is the tears of starting quarterbacks.

Flags prediction: SC will be called for three holding penalties and LSU won’t be called for any.

Big play prediction: Damiere Byrd will catch a touchdown pass of longer than 50 yards. LSU will convert a fake punt.

Ejection prediction: 26 LSU fans will be kicked out of the game. Five Carolina fans will be kicked out.

Score prediction: Gamecocks 17 Tigers 13

Yes, this is how Garnet and Cocky will preview games on Saturday from now on.
