It’s here.

Finally.

Game day.

And College GameDay.

And the Georgia Bulldogs.

And a complete beast board.

And 82,000+ fans ready to scream their heads off.

ESPN is set to broadcast quite possibly the biggest game in Williams-Brice Stadium history when the Gamecocks take on the Bulldogs tonight.

My advice?

Take it all in.

Watch GameDay from start to finish, if you can get to Columbia, even if you don’t have a ticket, find somewhere to tailgate and then find somewhere to watch the game.

Should the Gamecocks beat the Bulldogs, Carolina will have the inside track in the East to get to Atlanta for the SEC Championship game.

Sure, there’s still Florida to get through, but everyone knows Georgia was the team to beat heading into the season and the confidence and swagger South Carolina would get from a win over the Dawgs could carry them through the rest of their season.

There’s plenty of history to say the Gamecocks won’t win this one.

They’ve never won a game when they and their opponent were ranked in the top 10.

They’ve never beat Georgia three times in a row.

They haven’t won a game that pushed them higher than sixth in the polls in a very long time.

They also never beat Alabama before the last time College GameDay came to Columbia. They also never swept the SEC East until last year. They also never won 11 games before last year.

It’s clear what the Gamecocks think history can go do.

It’s clear what the Gamecocks think UGA can do when the final whistle has blown tomorrow night.

Kick itself out of Columbia.
