South Carolina Gamecocks Video Board: Damn this thing is sexy

For months, Williams-Brice Stadium has been getting a state of the art face lift above its student section bleachers. A new video board that everyone in Columbia can’t help but stare at every time they drive by on George Rodgers Blvd. It’s huge. And it will be in action Saturday against ECU.

The outside isn’t done. It doesn’t look like it will be by the time that game starts at 12:21 pm, either.

The actual screen itself, though… Well, let me tell you… It’s a thing of beauty.

Sexy, right?

Right.

If you’re coming to the game this Saturday chances are you can’t wait to see what the “Welcome to Williams-Brice” video looks like on the new screen. I know I can’t.

Two more days, and we’ll finally be able be able to crane our necks up at the thing (or not have to squint from the upper deck to see it), drop our jaws and drool all over ourselves as Steve Spurrier shouts from the in-stadium-speakers “It’s time for Carolina Football!”

Got goosebumps already.
