Steve Spurrier rivals practicing on His Field

If Science High School in Tennessee is famous for anything, it’s for producing Steve Spurrier.

The Head Ball Coach donated a nice chunk of change to the school and its football team now plays on Steve Spurrier Field.

Yesterday, another team played on the field. A team that has fans who have a special place reserved in their souls for despising Spurrier; The Tennessee Volunteers.

Yes, the Vols practiced on a field named after the man who once famously quipped “You can’t spell Citrus without UT”.

The Vols were set to host their camp at Milligan College, but heavy rain in the forecast forced them to Science High.

There’s not much to report out of the camp, other than the hilarious irony of the situation the Vols found themselves in.
