SEC Network’s Greg McElroy goes through and picks his top wide recievers in the SEC, picking the Gamecocks Pharoh Cooper  as the second best.

McElroy goes on to say that if they were going off of versatility alone, that Cooper would be number 1. Which is true in all aspects, considering he can play everything from quarterback, to running back and wide reciever.

McElroy also says that he plays much bigger than his 5’11 frame and that he does a great job of uncovering.

The last thing the former Alabama quarterback had to say was that Cooper is dynamite in all aspects of the game.

Cooper really is the go to guy for the Gamecocks and you better believe that Steve Spurrier will utilize him to the fullest extent.

After his breakout season last year he has earned ALL-SEC honors with a resume of  402 rushing yards, 107 passing yards, 1,190 receiving yards, 359 kickoff return yards and 115 punt return yards in his 24-game career that includes 13 starts and has five plays of 70-plus yards in his career (two rushing and three receiving). He was named the Joe Morrison Offensive Player of the Spring, and has now landed him a spot on the preseason Maxell and the Hornung award watch list.
