The College Gameday crew of Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso and Desmond Howard will be riding into Columbia, South Carolina this weekend as the South Carolina Gamecocks prepare for a big SEC East showdown with the Missouri Tigers. The Gamecocks are coming off a close victory over Vanderbilt, while the Tigers are licking their wounds following an upset loss to Indiana at home in the other Columbia. If last year’s matchup at Faurot Field is any indication, we should be in for a real treat once more.

To commemorate the occasion, we thought it would be fun to go back and take a look at the first six times the Gamecocks have hosted Gameday. From blowouts to close calls, we’ve seen it all. Worth noting: Carolina enters Saturday’s game on a two-game winning streak when Gameday is in town. Will that streak continue? We’ll find out this weekend.

Hop on Memory Lane with us and let’s look back at the Gamecocks’ past results when hosting the popular pregame show.
