The 2014 college football season kicks off tonight at Williams-Brice Stadium, with the South Carolina Gamecocks and Texas A&M Aggies doing battle in a Week One SEC showdown.
The predictions have been made and the stage has been set. All that’s left is to kick the ball off and let the teams play.
A new quarterback era begins on both sides. For the Gamecocks, the Connor Shaw experience is over, and Dylan Thompson is ready to call the signals under center. On the other side, Johnny Manziel is now engaged in a quarterback battle with Shaw up in Cleveland with the Browns, and the man charged with carrying on the legacy in College Station is Kenny Hill.
