That’s right. South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Texas A&M Aggies is TOMORROW. All the hype, talking, and speculation is put to rest when the two teams kick it off at 6pm Eastern time on Thursday. We wrap up our months-long countdown today.
Who wears #1: Damiere Byrd and Rico McWilliams
Byrd and McWilliams are a pair of guys you’ll be hearing a lot about in 2014. Byrd’s a senior (33 catches, 575 yards, four touchdowns in 2013), so this season is his final tour of duty in Gamecocks nation. McWilliams steps in as the team’s starting corner after appearing in nine games and making a pair of starts in 2013.

Obviously, there have been better seasons, but the team probably took pride in the 47-0 thrashing they gave North Carolina. They’d score 38 games in their other six games combined.
