Gamecocks Take Part in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge – GamecocksOnline.com has a video of Steve Spurrier and other coaches getting a little wet for a good cause.  Many people were surprised the coach would take part considering his dislike of the Gatorade dunks, but clearly this is something he feels passionate about from people he knows who have been affected.  Spurrier also issued a challenge to some of his “coaching buddies” as well.

In recruiting news, South Carolina lands a hidden gem in junior two-way star JaCorey Morris from Alabama Live.  Although not listed on any recruiting boards yet, this recruit for 2016 obviously is still highly thought of, and it appears South Carolina might have made an early steal with this one.

Saturday Blitz asks Is It SEC Title or Bust for South Carolina Gamecocks?  A lot of people  arequestioning how success will be defined in this era at South Carolina.  You have to wonder if Steve Spurrier’s comments about Nick Saban’s recruiting success not translating to the same level during the season led to people starting this line of questioning.
