Our countdown to the 2014 college football season continues as just 70 days separate us from kickoff between the South Carolina Gamecocks and Texas A&M Aggies at Williams-Brice Stadium on August 28.

Who wears #70: Alan Knott
The redshirt freshman and offensive center hasn’t seen any playtime as of yet, but it is worth noting the highlights of his Senior year in high school: 43rd best player in Georgia and 27th best offensive guard in the country in his class. In addition to the Gamecocks, Knott also received offers from Kentucky, Miami, Virginia Tech and North Carolina, so it appears that he has a lot to offer on the field when he does get playtime.
