Our countdown to the 2014 college football season continues as just 73 days separate us from kickoff between the South Carolina Gamecocks and Texas A&M Aggies at Williams-Brice Stadium on August 28.

Who wears #73?
Although no one wears this jersey number this year for the Gamecocks, the last player to wear the jersey was Rokevious Watkins as a redshirt senior in 2011. At 6’4″ and 340 lbs, he played as an offensive lineman in 26 games during his time with Carolina. He was drafted by the NFL in the 150th pick in 2012 to the St. Louis Rams and now plays with the Kansas City Chiefs.
