Jadeveon Clowney and J.J. Watt: Texans’ new dynamic defensive duo?

With the legend of Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt at a high after registering 30.5 sacks in his first three seasons, the team was looking for someone that they could slot on the line along with him. They got their man in Jadeveon Clowney.

Clowney, the 2014 NFL Draft’s #1 pick, will immediately benefit from being under the tutelage of Watt as soon as he steps foot on the Texans’ practice field. If Clowney pans out (as many think he will), the Texans will have arguably the most feared defensive line in the National Football League–two big, strong defensive ends that can get to the quarterback and cause havoc in the pocket.

Of course, that’s a big if. But Texans fans can celebrate for now knowing that they now have the top talent in this year’s draft in their possession to go along with easily one of the top defensive ends and sack artists in the NFL today.
