Florida is a beautiful state with a wonderful climate and great scenery. But three-star 2015 Oak Ridge (Fla.) wide receiver Nyqwan Murray wants out, and out could mean to the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Murray currently lists the Gamecocks in front in his top five, and is set to make a decision “after spring practice”, reports GoUpstate.com. And the wideout had great things to say about the Gamecocks:

“I like their team. They’re always finishing at the top of the SEC and I think they’re close to winning a championship…I want to leave the state of Florida.”

Murray’s other offers are Akron, Cincinnati, Duke, and Kent State among others; but it looks like the Gamecocks have the clear edge in this race and might be all but a lock to pick up a verbal. GoUpstate.com is reporting that Murray is set to visit this summer (he’s visited Miami and Florida already but mainly, it appears, out of due diligence).

At this point, it doesn’t look like it’s a matter of if Murray will verbal, just a matter of when–and whether it is before or during his visit to Columbia.
